Moillard Santenay Vieilles Vignes


A dark black cherry color. Very typical of the South of Cote de Beaune: fruity notes of gooseberry and raspberry with mineral aromas. A serious but gourmet wine. The palate is structured and rich, with some woody notes on the finish.

Ideal with stews such as veal and braised beef, caramelized or glazed poultry. It is also perfect with steak or simply a homemade hamburger. Soft Cheeses like camembert and brie also pair well. 100% Pinot Noir.

Harvest by hand. Traditional vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel. Pre-fermentation-temperature controlled cold maceration. Long fermentation during which pigeages and pumping are performed. Aged in oak barrels for 10 to 12 months. The soil consists of limestone containing marl and clay.
