MOULIN A VENT-DOMAINE DU POURPRE

A crimson colour and intense, complex aromas including floral scents (roses, peonies), dark berry aromas and hints of kirsch, sweet spices and pepper. Full, rich and fleshy on the palate, its tannins are mentholated, silky and distinctive, giving the wine a good structure. Good persistence on the finish. Serve with rich sauces, red meats and mature cheese. 100% Gamay.

Vines are planted at a density of 9000 to 10,000 per hectare and are grown using responsible techniques and minimal spraying, with short, goblet-style pruning. Fermented at a temperature of 28-30°C. 100% malolactic fermentation and matured in oak for 40% of the production process.
