Chateauneuf Du Pape

2017 was simply a great vintage! Glittering and deep purple robe. This cuvee smells of Southern France with spicy scents, white pepper, garrigue, cherry pit, black fruits and slight woody fragrance. Powerful, generous and full-bodied. The tannins are fine and silky. It shows a ripe fruity taste to the finish.

Serve with grilled beef, pork, duck, game, lamb, mushroom ravioli, lobster with saffron sauce, strong cheeses. Grenache and Syrah.

Grown in rolling stones on red clay and limestome. Fermented at a temperature of 24-28°C. 100% malolactic fermentation and macerated for 4 to 5 weeks in stainless steel tanks. 20% of the blend is aged in oak for 8 months.
