Calvet Syrah Mini

Clear, very intense, almost black, garnet red with purple lights. Cherries and black currants on the nose with notes of pepper and spices. Fine tannic body, with notes of pepper, liquorice, fine persistence and long taste. Pairs well with red meat, cold meats, salads and cheeses.

The grapes are harvested when ripe, destemmed, crushed and then fermented for 6 to 12 hours at a controlled temperature and pressed gently. The wine is matured in stainless tanks to conserve the rich aromas. Soil composition is sand, clay-chalk and schist.
