A beautiful, profound ruby hue with purple reflections. A delicate, subtle nose with pleasing hints of blackberries and ripe plums. Soft, mellow and fruity with fine aromatic persistence on notes of black fruit and violets. Excellent with grilled meat, lamb, spaghetti carbonara and soft or hard cheeses.

Mechanical harvesting with manual sorting before vatting. Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, with repeated sludge removal and pumping back into the top of the tank in order to extract the tannins and other components and to obtain a good structure. Soil composition is clay and limestone.
