Calvet Beaujolais

Fairly light ruby, clear and brilliant. Intense nose with a dominance of cherries, raspberries and black currants. Pleasing round palate with a touch of acidity, which enhances the cherry notes. Serve with vegetarian dishes, charcuterie and jams. Gamay grape.

Traditional wine-making process. The grapes are whole in bunches. Short maceration for 4 to 5 days. This technique combines alcohol and intra-cellular fermentation. After that, the wine is made like any other red wine. Selection of the best soils made of sandstone, granite, clay-chalky and some sandy traces.
