Angostura Sour
- Shaking Tin
- Coupe Glass
- Sour Glass
- Hawthorne Strainer
- Fine Mesh Strainer
- 1 oz Angostura Bitters (Aromatic Bitters)
- 1 oz Lemon (Fresh Lemon Juice)
- 1 oz Demerara Syrup
- 1 Egg White
Demerara Syrup
Combine 1 part Demerara sugar with 1 part hot water
Stir until fully dissolved
The Cocktail
Place all ingredients in an empty shaker tin
Shake hard for one to two minutes until the egg white is fully emulsified
Strain into ice-filled sour glass
Place ice in the shaker tin and shake vigorously until shaker tin frosts
Double strain into a chilled sour or coupe glass
